Every year on April 22, 地球日 marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. 今天, 地球日 is celebrated by more than a billion people as a day of action to change human behavior and create global, national and local policy changes.
存 is proud of our efforts over the past several years to reduce our impact on the environment and find ways to conserve energy in the future. 从2016年开始, 存’s facilities team started monitoring electricity usage at our business and data centers. New building management systems were installed to provide insight into energy consumption, from water and electricity usage to heating and cooling metrics. As time has progressed, we’ve committed more resources toward enabling a more sustainable future.

少即是多: Since energy consumption contributes nearly 60% of the world's greenhouse gas emissions, reducing our environmental impact is a priority for 存. We’re taking significant strides to reduce our energy footprint in a number of ways.
- 30% reduction in total energy consumption 与2016年相比
- 15.1 million kilowatt hours of electricity saved by improving ventilation systems across our offices
- 11% reduction in electricity consumption due to lower building occupancy in 2020
- 9% total annual electricity usage offset from generating on-site solar power by 2023
Energy Management: 存 received the ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management Certification for our three main office locations in the U.S.: Dallas, Jersey City and Tampa.
- ISO 50001 is the global energy management systems standard which specifies requirements for establishing, 实现, maintaining and improving an energy management system.
- We have adopted this framework across the rest of our global 存 sites in advance of filing for formal certification in 2022.

- Our goal is to reach carbon neutrality across 存 operations by 2025 and net-zero emissions across our value chain by 2030.
